As we continue to grow we now have a vacancy for an Asset Controller to join our team in Dyce.

The workshop office environment is a busy one and requires an organised and focused individual who can contribute towards operational productivity and departmental performance. The ideal candidate will be able to work calmly under pressure and enjoy the challenge of a fast paced environment.

Areas of specific responsibility include:

• Liaising with traffic departments to track and trace trailers required for routine maintenance and repair.
• Allocating trailer work instructions/job cards to workshop staff.
• Maintaining the Fleet Planner.
• Registering pre-planned vehicle work and defects.
• Ensuring efficient movement of trailers to and from the workshop.
• Undertaking all workshop trailer administration.
• Handling workshop related calls.
• Updating and maintaining workshop trailer workload on a weekly basis and communicate with workshop and traffic departments.
• Filing completed workshop job cards and related documentation.

Essential criteria:

• Previous HGV workshop experience
• Excellent IT skills Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• High organisational skills and ability to manage a number of projects at the same time.
• Ability to prioritise own workload
